Short version: we collect as little as we can, use it only for what you asked, and never sell it.

**Draft, to be reviewed before launch.**

## What we collect and why

- Quote requests: the details you type go only to the businesses you tick. We keep a copy for 12 months to handle complaints, then delete it.
- Corrections and messages: used only to check the report and reply to you.
- Business claims: the owner's name, email and the phone verification code.
- Analytics: privacy-friendly page counts. No advertising trackers, no selling of personal data.

## Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete anything we hold about you. We reply within 30 days.

## Businesses

Business names, addresses, phone numbers, ratings and public records are published because they are business information. Owners can correct them through their profile or our [corrections page](https://thecityfavorites.com/corrections/).

[City *Favorites*](https://thecityfavorites.com/)

Local favorites for the things you need. Every pick carries a label with published criteria, a date, and a reason you can check.

Labels are editorial. Businesses can't buy a label or a better position. Sponsored placements are always marked.
